Terms of Service

 

 

Please treat our site with respect - Understand that there is a reason for every policy that we have in place, and if you have difficulty with something on our site please let us know and we will assist you the best that we can.

 

Employer Contract

 

 

Employers incur no site fees unless they are found at fault in a dispute, at which time a 3.5% cancellation fee, waived if the funds initially escrowed are applied toward another job (not refunded). Please be honest with your job postings and clear with your details. Also, please understand that anything delivered to you by a worker took time to create, it did not magically appear, so if you can use it please pay for it. Our money back guarantee protects you in the event that your worker fails to complete the project on time or per your requirements - please be very specific in your bid request and correspondence.

 

Worker Contract

 

 

Site fees are taken out of the payment you receive when you complete a project and the employer transfers the funds for the job to your account. If you are found at fault in a dispute you will be charged 3.5% of the project to offset the merchant fees it cost us to initially transfer the funds from the employer. Withdrawals are twice per month, on the 1st and the 15th. There is a $5 processing fee for all withdrawals, however you may be charged fees for receiving your money or converting the funds, depending on the merchant you select for your withdrawal. All transactions on RavW are conducted in USD; we do not convert funds on site. If you complete your project on time and per the specifications provided by the employer you are guaranteed to receive your payment; we require that the employer pays for the job in full before you do the work and then we release this money to you at project completion.

Be as specific as possible when you post a bid request, this will ensure that you receive accurate bids. Do not solicit our workers to work for free or work outside of our site. Do not post anything illegal and if you have a school project - do your own homework! If your project includes working on an adult website please mention this in the title, some of our users have sensitive eyes and it is only fair to provide warning.

Job Posting Policy

Feedback Policy

 

 

Please don't sweat the small stuff, be fair, nobody is 100% perfect but we all strive for a perfect score. If you have a problem on a job open a dispute, please do not use our feedback system for retaliation. Remember that a member's feedback is the one most important reference they have on the site, so we ask that you do not crucify and forever damage their feedback for small issues.

 

Project and Site Copyrights

 

 

Once a vWorker delivers a project and the employer releases the escrowed funds, unless otherwise stated, 100% of the copyright belongs to the employer. Deliveries that are rejected by the employer belong to the worker. And for our site, it is ours, if you wish to copy it please ask, we take copyright infringement seriously, but we are really easy to get along with and if our content is used appropriately we normally don't mind sharing.

 

Privacy

 

 

We have your personal information but our lips are sealed. We do not rent, sell, share or barter any information that we obtain from you, and we ask that you don't add us to any spam lists. Sound fair?

 

Identity Verification

 

 

Identity verification might seem like a bit of a hassle but it is necessary to prevent fraudulent activity. Unfortunately it is easy to use stolen identities and credit cards on the internet, we have procedures in place to verify who you are and where the funds you have escrowed came from. Workers must also verify their identity to prevent money laundering. Yep, a few people ruined it for all of us! As for RavW, we are a legally registered business in the state of Michigan, USA - check us out.

 

Affiliate Agreement

 

 

Refer people to our site and we will pay you every single time they close a project (lifetime residuals)! If you refer an employer we will pay you 20% of the site fees and if you refer a worker we will pay you 5% of the site fees. But it gets better, once you have earned $1,000 in affiliate commissions we will pay you 25% for employers and 7% for workers.

 

NDA - Non-Disclosure Agreement

 

 

This is a simple agreement that some employers require to protect confidential information that they might entrust a provider with to complete their project. For the sake of convenience RavW allows freelancers to electronically sign this agreement at the time they bid a project.
